e entire event or drop in/ drop out-- whatever works best for you. Is ther
e a minimum donation to participate? No\, but there is a minimum of a $25

or the weather. You may need items such as a winter coat or sweater\, appr
 opriate footwear\, ball cap\, toque\, gloves\, sunscreen\, etc. For Milita
ry Members: Dress of Day is CADPATs with field hats\, rucksack or daypack

hing\, water bottle\, snacks\, and anything else you think you might need.

at Master’s Academy. What is rucking? Rucking or "Forced Marches" are bo
th a manner in which troops are moved around the battlefield\, and also an
excellent form of full-body workout for soldiers as well as civilians. It
involves typically carrying your full fighting kit\, plus a large backpac
k (rucksack) to and from different locations while in training and on depl
oyment. How should I pack a ruck? The best way is with even distribution a
round the pack's height and width\, you don't want to just shove a 45 poun
d plate from the gym in there\, as that will cause additional strain on yo
ur body when compared to a 45 pound ruck packed with outdoor essentials li
ke extra clothing\, extra water\, a fresh pair of boots\, even a sleeping
system. Rucking is designed to allow soldiers to transport themselves from
one area to another over a consistent period of time while on duty.
