SUMMARY:Sebastian Bach & Quiet Riot: The Headbangers Haunt
LOCATION:Grey Eagle Event Centre\, 3775 Grey Eagle Drive\, Calgary
DESCRIPTION:Sebastian BachWith an inimitable presence as loud as his instan
tly identifiable voice\, Sebastian Bach has left a San Andreas Fault-size
 imprint on music\, theater\, film\, television\, and culture. Moreover\, h
is influence only continues to magnify. He has penned and voiced some of th
e most iconic anthems in rock history\, crafting a catalog highlighted by
generational hits such as “18 and Life\,” “I Remember You\,” “Yo
uth Gone Wild\,” ”Slave To The Grind\,” “Wasted Time\,” and “M
onkey Business\,” to name a few.QUIET RIOTQUIET RIOT is a rock 'n' roll
phenomenon. Famously described as the first heavy metal band to top the po
p chart at #1 on Billboard magazine\, the Los Angeles quartet became an ov
ernight sensation thanks to their monster 1983 smash album Metal Health.QU
IET RIOT first signed a record deal with Pasha Records in the dawn of the
'80s at a time when radio was dominated by the “new wave” sound. Their
hard-driving pop-metal sound was deemed “out” by record labels\, so t
he debut album Metal Health was against the grain. Driven by the irresisti
ble double whammy of the rendition of the old Slade chestnut "Cum on Feel
the Noize\,” and their original song “Metal Health (Bang Your Head)" t
he album stormed up the U.S. charts\, duly reaching the number one spot an
d going platinum five times over in the process.
