For decades, Jim Gray has been known for bringing people together over breakfast - creating space to share ideas, offer advice, make connections and help others move forward. The Gray Breakfast Forum takes inspiration from that tradition. As part of Top 7 Over 70™ programming, this intimate breakfast series creates an opportunity for ventures, business leaders and community partners to sit down with some of Alberta’s most experienced leaders and learn from them directly. Fittingly, the first Gray Breakfast Forum will feature Jim himself. Jim is one of Calgary’s most respected business and community leaders. An entrepreneur and energy industry pioneer, he co-founded Canadian Hunter Exploration and helped grow it into one of Canada’s leading independent natural gas companies. Beyond business, Jim has spent decades contributing to Calgary and Alberta through philanthropy, civic leadership, mentorship and his support of the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders. Over breakfast, guests will have the opportunity to hear Jim’s perspective, ask questions and learn from the experiences, relationships and lessons he has built over a lifetime in business and community leadership. Small by design, the Gray Breakfast Forum is about genuine conversation and direct access to experience - continuing the kind of connection and knowledge-sharing Jim’s breakfasts have fostered for years.
